Syabas dan tahniah aku nak ucapkan kepada semua calon-calon SPM 2012. Petang tadi selesai perjuangan mereka... Seringkali aku ingatkan kepada budak-budak aku: "Selepas 6 tahun kamu di Sekolah Rendah, tambah lagi 5 tahun di Sekolah Menengah; Inilah masanya... Inilah ujian besarnya... yang bakal menentukan hala tuju kamu selepas ini... Cikgu doakan yang baik-baik saja untuk kamu..."
Secara kebetulan subjek yang aku ajar (bagi yang tak tahu lagi aku, mengajar subjek MPV- Menservis Motosikal) merupakan kertas di hari terakhir... Pagi-pagi lagi aku dah sampai ke sekolah tadi. Nak pastikan budak-budak aku ready to go... Alhamdullilah masing-masing nampak konfiden. Dalamanya, aku tak tahulah... Cuma yang aku kesalkan ada juga yang tak datang ambil periksa. Daripada 22 orang yang aku daftarkan, 18 jer yang muncul... Seorang memang tak dapat hadir akibat kemalangan... Yang 3 lagi kecundang... Aku tak dapat buat apa-apa sebab memang dari kertas pertama 3 orang ni tak muncul-muncul... So aku assume samada diorang bertiga memang dah terlebih bijak ataupun memang mak bapak diorang keturunan kaya-kaya...
Habis kertas aku menunaikan janji untuk belanja budak-budak ni. Agak parah juga poket aku dikerjakan. Tapi nak buat macamana, dah janji... Sebelum berpisah, last words aku pada diorang: "So, inilah hari yang korang tunggu-tunggu selama ni kan...? Tamatlah dah masa kamu semua sebagai seorang pelajar sekolah... Pesan cikgu 1 jer, jadilah MANUSIA... Jangan jadi @#%$^# sudah ok... Cikgu doakan yang baik-baik saja untuk korang..."
Sempatlah pulak aku bergambor kenangan dengan budak-budak ni... So inilah dia budak-budak aku, budak 5C... Kelas yang diisytiharkan sebagai kelas 'paling mengerikan' dalam sekolah aku... Well, what do you expect? Budak bengkel... 30% daripada masa keseluruhan mereka di sekolah adalah dalam bengkel jer... Aku pun kadang-kadang stress dengan budak-budak ni... Tapi aku yakin dan percaya, budak-budak inilah yang satu hari besok bila berjumpa dengan aku akan datang bersalam cium tangan; budak-budak inilah yang besok bila nak kawin kad jemputan dia awal-awal lagi dah sampai kat aku; dan budak-budak inilah yang besok takkan lokek nak belanja aku minum kat kedai kopi... Nak harapkan anak-anak murid yang dah jadi lawyer, akautan atau doktor... Herm entah ler... Mungkin masa tu diorang fikir, alamak cikgu, ape kelasss... Heee tapi of course la bukan semua kan...
Well sebenarnya aku menumpang merdeka budak-budak ini juga, berakhirnya SPM bermakna berakhir jugalah tugas aku sebagai Pengawas Peperiksaan... So lepas ni barulah boleh 'betul-betul' bercuti... Bolehlah tempah tiket ke Disneyland ke, Hatyai ke, Hollywood ke... Perghhh iye sangatlah tu... Dapat ke Langkawi pun dah cukuplah... Aku sedar diriku siapa... Har har... Apa-apa pun:
